Dear friends,
My fourth solo album is out today!
Find it here: lnk.to/4inaCycleofThirds
I hope you will enjoy it, it was an absolute labour of love and of course impossible without the team behind it.
First up, my brilliant recording and mixing engineer Fiona Cruickshank, who masterfully captured the frequencies made and magic conjured.
My incredible friend Nina Harries who added her magnificent talent on the double bass.
My new friend Zöhre Ülger who masterfully played the Saz and brought me closer to pieces of my own heart.
My other new friend Zara Hudson-Kozdoj who agreed to join the album with her eloquent and deep playing upon meeting me during my visiting artist time at Max Richter's studio (where we also recorded all the music , apart from the vocals).

I also had the great joy of singing, again, with Jodie Landau (on the track "Dawn (on Db)") - albeit it was two different sessions :) His recorded by Jherek Bischoff.
I had help from another dear friend, Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres for transcribing the cello parts I had written (well, sung really !). And I even roped in the wonderful Henriette Smith Rolla via her sample library we both had the pleasure to release via SA Recordings (RIP!) and also Lea Bertucci. The former has become a dear friend while I have not yet met Lea :)!
And then I was overjoyed to be working again with Heba Kadry, who mastered the album, as a crowning conclusion!
It all got wrapped up by Aspa Founti, who I am thrilled to have on my team again after her wonderful design for my last album '3', and she was able to work with stunning visual materials made by Laura Lewis, in form of the album photography , and the incredible painting made by Oliver Okolo , based on one of Laura's photo.

I am SO grateful to my family who have a massive part in helping me accomplish making another record. From mental to financial help, the latter useless without the former.
I know of the privilege it is to be making and releasing a record and with it I strive to bring you truth and joy and do my best on the way. Thank you!
Alev
